Assessment exam: TEST EXAMPLE 4 MM
This area has been created to to help explain how to take your exams with the IDM.
What form will the exams take?
- The standard time limit is 1 hour per paper. (If you have been granted additional time by your academic institution, you will be entitled to 15 minutes of additional time for each paper).
- Assessment length:
- Assessment 1 - 50 multiple choice questions
- Assessment 2 - Multiple choice questions based on different case-study scenarios (comprising of 35 questions).
- Both papers are compulsory and you must attempt all questions
During the assessment (applies to both paper 1 and 2)
Once you start the paper, you will see a timer showing the remaining time. You will not be able to pause the timer.
Read each question carefully and select your answer(s). Click 'next' to submit your answer(s) and move on to the next question. If you have any time remaining, you may revisit questions and amend your answers.
Submitting your assessment (applies to both paper 1 and 2)
After your allotted time, the paper will close and your answers will be submitted automatically. If you wish to submit your paper before this time, you can do so but you will not be able to amend your answer(s) thereafter.
Please note that the pass mark for both papers is 60%.
You must pass both exams to pass the module. Your final grade will be calculated based on an unweighted average from both papers. By starting the assessment process, you are confirming that you have read the IDM Rules & Regulations.
