This area has been created to help explain how to take your exam with the IDM.
What form will the exam take?
- The standard time limit is 75 mins for the paper.
- Assessment length: 70 multiple choice questions
- You will need to achieve 60% or higher to pass this assessment.
- You must attempt every question
- YOU MUST CLICK "SUBMIT" FOR EVERY SINGLE QUESTION THAT YOU ANSWER.
- Once you have answered all of the questions, you will be able to click the "Submit Exam" button (which is located at the top right of your screen and also at the very bottom of the exam). This button will appear only when all 70 questions have been answered.
During the assessment:
Once you start the paper, you will see a timer showing the remaining time. You will not be able to pause the timer.
Read each question carefully and select your answer(s). Click "submit" to submit your answer(s) and move on to the next question. If you have any time remaining, you may revisit questions and amend your answers by clicking the "reset" button next to the question you wish to amend.
Submitting your assessment:
After your allotted time, the paper will close and your answers will be submitted automatically. If you wish to submit your paper before this time, you can do so but you will not be able to amend your answer(s) thereafter.
By starting the assessment process, you are confirming that you have read the IDM Rules & Regulations.
Getting your results:
Once you have completed the assessment, you will be able to see your mark.
If you have passed the assessment, you will be able to download your certificate. The certificate will appear on the right hand side of this page.
The certificate can also be found behind the "Achievements" button on the homepage of this site: https://digitallearning.theidm.com.
Furthermore, you will also receive an email from qualifications@theidm.com by 6pm today formally confirming your final result.
